Dr Jon Liu, Doctor of Chiropractic
Having always held a keen interest in health and helping people Jon found himself enrolled onto a course in Microbiology. It was not until a chance meeting with his cousin (also a Chiropractor - Dr Mun Wey To) that Jon came across Chiropractic for the first time and after a visit to Belfast where Dr Mun Wey To was practising he decided to enrol at the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic from where he gained his Master of Chiropractic degree.
"Having seen first hand the immediate and profound impact Chiropractic could have whilst observing my cousin in practice, it was an easy decision to make to become a Doctor of Chiropractic. That first experience was something of a blur with so much to take in, but there was one moment which struck me and has stayed with me to this day: where a frail and elderly lady came in bent double and struggling to move but left upright and headed to her ballroom dancing. You can't put into words that kind of impact on a person's quality of life and that is a process I wanted to be a part of!"
After graduating Jon initially practised back in his hometown area of south-west London (Surrey), before spending time in Bangor, Northern Ireland. He then moved to Scotland in 2009 where he still practices in Edinburgh and has been a part of the Kingdom Chiropractic team since January 2012 where he is enthused about making a positive impact on the health and proactive wellbeing of Cupar and Fife!
